About GMG Graphene

GMG Graphene and Liquid Graphene Products

We manufacture graphene in-house and develop liquid graphene formats for energy-saving and energy-storage applications.

Graphene material

Few-layer graphene used across our product development.

Energy savings

Graphene properties improve heat transfer, lubrication and protection.

Energy storage

Conductive properties power our battery and materials work.

Carbon wonder product

The material behind GMG products

We produce graphene in-house from natural gas. Independent testing from the Advanced Carbon Council confirms it’s few-layer graphene. We control platelet width and consistency throughout the process, tailored to our product range.

Strong conductor of heat and electricity.

Used in our coatings, lubricants, fluids and battery-development work.

We manufacture it from natural gas rather than mined graphite.

In-house graphene production capability

Our graphene production process is continuous, scalable and tuneable, using natural gas as the carbon source for secure, consistent material supply.

Material features

What GMG Graphene makes possible

These material properties are the practical reasons graphene can power multiple product applications.

Thermal conductivity

Extremely thermally conductive material behaviour.

Lubricity and protection

Friction reduction and protective surface behaviour.

Ion storage

High-density capacity relevance for ion-storage applications.

Dimension

Generally between one and five billionths of a metre high.

Structure and size

Layered flakes and onion-like forms only a few atoms high.

Weight and aspect

Light material ratio with high surface area per gram.

Competitive advantage

Our process starts with natural gas

Our process uses natural gas methane feedstock and electric plasma, delivering low input cost, fast scalability and controlled definability.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What is graphene?

Graphene is a two-dimensional allotrope of carbon. GMG Graphene, in powder form, consists of few-layer graphene.

How does GMG use graphene in energy-saving products?

Graphene’s properties deliver heat dissipation, lubrication, friction reduction, strength and impermeability across our products.

Can graphene be custom made?

Different applications need different functional factors. We manufacture grades suited to specific product and application requirements.

Does GMG use graphite in production?

We don’t use graphite. Our process runs on natural gas methane as the carbon source.

Is graphene safe?

We address safety through commercial approvals, safe handling guidelines, safety data sheets and active monitoring of health-science research.

What are GMG's liquid graphene products?

G FLUID is a high-performance aqueous dispersion that helps customers incorporate GMG Graphene into materials and fluids.
